по английскому языку

"Healthy lifestyle»

(«Здоровый образ жизни»)

Тема vvoKa"Healthy lifestyle"
Цели урока
Практическая:

Совершенствовать навыки усиленной разговорной речи по теме; формировать умения вести беседу, используя лексику по теме; развивать культуру речевого общения, коммуникативную компетенцию учащихся.
Образовательная:

Познакомить учащихся с современными достижениями медицины с медицинскими проблемами подросткового поколения.
Развивающая:

Развивать навыки относительно заботе о здоровье на уровне достижений науки и опыта человечества.
Воспитательная:

Воспитывать у учащихся желание заботиться о своем здоровье, избавляться от вредных привычек, убедить учащихся в необходимости здорового способа жизни.
Оборудование урока:

Учебник английского языка, раздаточные картинки, наглядный материал, магнитофон.
Форма организаторской обучающей деятельности - групповая.
Метод обучения:

- «мозговая атака»

- «ажурная пилка»

- «микрофон»

- «аквариум»

- ролевые игры

- решение ситуативных задач

^ Методические рекомендации
На предыдущем уроке учащиеся делятся на три равносильные группы. Каждая группа выбирает своего лидера и направляет одного участника в группу экспертов.
1 группа «Спортсмены» ("Sportsmen")

2 группа «Врачи» ("Doctors")

3 группа «Повара»
Каждая группа имеет свое название, эмблему, девиз, соответствующие проблеме, над которой она работает.
Одежда лидера каждой группы отражает название группы и направление ее работы.
В течение урока участники групп выполняют задания, дают информацию, делают аргументированные выводы, демонстрирую приобретенные навыки коммуникативной компетенции и усовершенствуя их.
Для выполнения творческих и письменных работ учащиеся 1 и 2 каждой группы переходят в другие группы. Например, из группы «Спортсмены» 1 переходит в группу «Врачи, 2 - «Повара». Из группы «Врачи» 1 переходит в группу «Спортсмены», 2 - «Повара. Из группы «Повара» 1 переходит в группу «Спортсмены», 2 - «Врачи».
Это помогает добиться того, что новый учащийся отдает свою информацию и одновременно получает от группы информацию для себя.
Во время выполнения упражнений звучит спокойная легкая музыка.

Время выполнения задания регламентируется:

Презентация идей - 15 минут

Выполнение заданий - 15 минут

Выводы группы экспертов и преподавателя - 5 минут

Дибрифинг - 5 минут

Объявление результатов - 5 минут.
Преподаватель подводит итоги урока, делает выводы. Характеризует положительные аспекты работы каждого учащегося на уроке и всей группы.
Команда экспертов помогает преподавателю оценивать ответы учащихся и подводить итоги.
Для успешного проведения занятия очень важно создать атмосферу увлеченности и доброжелательности.

^ Ход урока

I. Начало урока.

1. Организационный момент.

The lesson begins with the greetings between the teacher and pupils.
T. Good morning, pupils!

P. Good morning, teacher!

T. I am glad to see you!

P. We are glad to see you too!

T. Are all pupils healthy today?

P. All pupils are healthy today!

T. I am very glad to hear that because the theme of our lesson is "Healthy lifestyle».
The aims of the lesson are:

- to master by practice the usage of the thematic lexial material;

- deepen and widen pupils' knowledge on the theme "Health"'

- to develop the skills of reading, writing, auditing, speaking;

- to develop creative thinking and imagination;

- to bring up the feeling of our own responsibility for our health.
WARM UP

T. Dear pupils! For your health is one of the most important issues of concern.. Soon you are finishing vocational school and for achieving success in future life you must be health both physically and mentally/ Some people live long and feel really well, some people suffer from all illnesses imaginable. What helps a person to keep fit, to remain healthy? If you do not know to do it, and even if you know I invite you to attend our lesson, devoted to "Healthy lifestyle".

P. Thank you very much. We are happy we here.

T. You see, three groups of pupils are present at our lesson. They are "Sportsmen", "Doctors", "Cooks".

Let's touch upon some items of this health problem. Who can express your opinion about being healthy?
"Sportsmen " speaking

P. Let us try to say words. I want to say sport is very popular in our country. Thousands of people go in for sports, because sports help people to keep in good health.

P. As you know, the most popular kinds of sports in our country are football, volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, skiing, skating.

P. I think in every school pupils spend much time going in for sports. They have their physical training lessons.

P. From time to time every school organizes competitions in different kinds of sports.

P. Funny! In winter we spend much time outdoors, skating, skiing and play hockey.
P. In summer we like to swim most of all.
P. As for me I am a football fan. I try to match every football match on TV. I like sport very much.
T. Victor, tell us please, why do you like football?
V. I like football because I am good at it.
T. And you Sasha?
S. I like football because I play for our vocational school team. We always take part in football matches 2 often win.
P. I can play football all year round, I do not need much special equipment.
P. I have many friends who like football and we play in the yard almost every day.
T. I see, all boys like football most of all. And now tell me if sports really help you to keep fit.
PL I go in for running and swimming. I do aerobic exercises when it is possible. It helps me to be healthy.
P2. As for me I do not go in for sports but I do morning exercises every day so I am of energy.
P. Sport is necessary for life. People who do not go in for sports often fall ill. They have weak health. People who go in for sports are strong and look young.
P. I think every bodu should do sports every day.

P. As for me I do not think that Fll become a famous sportsman, but I go in for sports for myself.

P. After school I play badminton it helps me feel cheerful. Sport helps me even in studying.
T. I am glad to hear, that. Your next task is to make up dialogues.
^ Role - play. Interviews.

T. Now we shall act out some dialogues. Listen to your partner and respond to what he says.

(pupils in pairs act out the interviews written in the previous lesson.) The topic of the dialogues are: "My favorite kind of sport"

"The best sportsman of our group"

"Sports in England"

"The last Sport Competition"
Example " My friend is the best sportsmen of our group".
R. Morning! I am a reporter from the newspaper "Sport news". Could you tell me some words about the best sportsman of your group?
P. Of course. The best sportsman of our group is Pavel Ivanov. He is my friend.
R. What sport does he go in for?
P. He plays tennis.
R. Does he go to the sport school?
P. Yes, he does. But he plays for our team.
R. Do they take part in sport competitions?
P. Of course. Last week our team took first place.
R. Thank you. Good by!
P. Good by!
T. Thank you. I think it's time for game.

I want pupils number 1 and number 2 from each group sit at the tables of other groups.

One of the pupils stands in front of the class facing the blackboard. Teacher shows a picture of any sport to the class. Pupil at the blackboard tries to guess the word.
T. Thank you. Now I want you to do your physical exercises.

Stand up!

Hands up, hands down.

Hands on your lips.

Sit down!

Stand up!

Hands on your sides.

Touch your nose.

Touch your ears.

Touch your toes.

Turn to the left.

Turn to the right.

P1. Let me resite a poem, please. Sport is fun for girls and boys. It's much better than the toys. We can swim and play football Hockey, tennis, basketball You can jump, you can run. You can have a lot of fun!
T. Thank you. Sports help people to keep in good health. It's really so.
T. "Doctors, why do people become ill?" Let us discuss this problem. (Метод «aквариум»)
PI. I think people become ill, because of pollution. Pollution is bad for health.
P2. I agree with you. By the way, many people pollute themselves. Some of them smoke and drink alcohol.
P3. You are right, but there is another question - why do*we get diseases? And there are some main reasons.
1. We inherit them from our parents. For example, some kinds of heart disease.


  1. We catch them from other people. For example. AIDS etc.


P3. Cars and motorcars also ruin our health, when we inhale the smoke which cars blow into the air.


P4. Many people eat far too much sugar and fat food.
P5. They did not mention stress. Stress is a kind of illness itself.
T. Very often we can hear the question "Do you smoke?" "Does he smoke?" So, is smoking good or bad?
PI. I know that smoking is dangerous and I'll show it to you. Look at the picture. This is a smoking machine. Let's look at the results of its work. Out of a 1000 smokers who smoke about 20 cigarettes a day 300 will dir because of smocking.
P2. Some boys and girls have their own experience in smoking. My friend said he enjoyed smoking and thought it made him look big. But I think it's not true because smoking ruins his health. And now he has a headache. I want to say "No smoking".
T. I agree with you and now some role games.

In role plays you'll take the part of different characters, for example a doctor, a painter, a sigaretter, a student.

For example very often you may see such a situation (pupils act a dialogue "At the cigarette's shop")
P. One cigarette, please.
C. Good morning, dear boy/1 am a cigarette. I am young, I am strong, I am handsome. I have long arms. I take away your health, your youth, your life. Do you want to smoke and to look like an old man?
P. Oh, no I do not. I want to live and not to die.

Role play 2

"The doctors visit"

P. Good morning, doctor.'

D. Good morning, what's matter P. I am not well

D. Have you* a temperature?

P. Yes, I have.

D. Let me see. The temperature is 36. You may go to school.

P. Oh, I have a headache.

D. All right. Let me help you. (берет шприц)

P. No, doctor. I am well. Thank you..
Pupils act out short dialogues according to the picture "A visit to a doctor".

A/ Imagine that you are a doctor who is treating a patient suffering from the flue. Tell you patient what he should do to get well.
B/ Give a piece of medical advice to the patient with instructions how to do it.

Т. Pupils, you know a lot of proverbs about health. You task is to walk round the room looking for "Your other half. If you find your half, you should stand together and read a proverb.

(The tescher dives out parts of proverbs to pupils).

Т. Thank you. I think stress is a global problem. What are common ways of relieving stress. There are simple ways. People should laugh and smile more often. When you laugh your body relaxes. Look at the picture. One boy is sad, another boy is happy. I advice to say each other every day:

PI. I want to say:

Let us smile where we say "Good morning"

For a smile makes our faces bright.

T. Thank you. To my mind food can dictate your mood

PL Of course you are write our mood depends on our meals. Our Ukrainian people like tasty food and women in our country can cook tasty things.
P2. Ukraine enjoys a rariety of traditional cookery. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper.

P3. The traditional Ukrainian food includes hot borshch, kasha, mlyntsi, pyrohy, varenyky.

P4. By the way in Donbass borshch differs from that one in the west of Ukraine. Tasters differ. I am sure that our cooks are the best in the words.
Dialogues

PL When I have dinner I eat soup, bread, meat or fish, vegetables. - Sasha, do you remember what you had for dinner?

P2. Naturally. Our father is a patriot and he orders Ukrainian meals only. That's why he ordered borshch for himself and for my mother. As for me I ordered varenyky.

PL I prefer Ukrainian cookery too. Let me invite you to the cafe.

P2. Oh, no, it was a very funny story in the cafe. Listen to how a man wanted to eat a plate

of soup. A man asked for a plate of soup at a country inn (официант несет тарелку супа)

М. Waiter, I can not eat this soup (официант уносит эту тарелку и приносит другую)

W. I think you will like it.

M. I can eat this soup.

W. Why? It's very good. Why can not you eay it?

M. Because I have no spoon.

"Restaurant"

M. Good morning. Glad to see you. Make yourself comfortable. Will you look through the menu?

PI. Of course.

W. Have you decided.

P2. A salad, some mashed potatoes, please.
P3. A cabbage salad, please.

W. Would you like something to drink?

PI. Some mineral water.

P2. A cup of tea and a box of sweets.

P3. I'd have a tomato juice.

W. Good. I'll have everything for you in a few minutes.

P-s. Thank you.
Game - time

1. (Учащимся, участникам конкурса, завязывают глаза. Они по вкусу определяют продукты и называют их ).

2. Each pupils from each group lay the table for breakfast, dinner, for " tea-time".

T. Thank you, pupils. And now such kind of a test.

(каждый из учащихся получает карточку. Прослушав информацию, учащиеся проставляют ее номер под соответствующей темой - контроль аудирования).

1. Football is the most popular game in England. The players try to score a goal.

2. Keep your bodies clean. Clean your teeth every day. Get enough sleep. Do morning exercises.

3. It is very important to eat healthy food and to get the right balance of vitamins in our diet.

4. Sport mean health. This kind of sport is very beautiful. Figure skating gives the sportsmen strength, grace.

5. Dinner is the main meal for me. Breakfast is a simple meal of bread and butter.

6. Health is above wealth.

T. Thank you.

The last item I'll touch upon are accidents. I think you know how to behave in extreme

situations. One of the most dangerous things is fire.

Listen to the tape and draw pictures. " Fire is Dangerous". And make rules of Behaviour

such as:

- when oil catches fire, cover it with a tamp towel.

- when oil catches fire, do not throw water on it.

- Do not move hot oil etc. (каждая группа своим рисунком, иллюстрацией правила поведения во время пожара после прослушивания текста).

Maybe that's all for today. Today you have learned many useful things. I am sure you

know what helps a person to keep fit. You know some rules already. What are they.

I think this lesson was very interesting and useful. You discussed a very important
